This approach guarantees a supportive and enriching learning  experience.

Our unique approach helps clients to develop their communication, emotional regulation,  learning, and social skills, significantly enhancing their quality of life and boosting self confidence.

clubSENsational Swimming Sessions:

Where Swimming is More Than Just a Swimming Session

At clubSENsational, we understand that everyone has unique needs when accessing aquatic  activities. That is why our swimming sessions are personalised to each student’s individual  requirements, making swimming more than just a lesson.

1 to 1

We provide personalized, one-on-one support during each session to meet every student’s unique needs. By embracing a person centred approach, we tailor our sessions around their strengths and challenges, fostering an environment where they feel valued and understood. We aim to adapt to each student, empowering them to thrive in their learning journey.

STRUCTURED SESSIONS & VISUAL AIDS

We believe in the importance of verbal and nonverbal communication. To make learning more engaging, we use resources like mini-schedules, routine lists, instruction grids, first, next, and then boards, and Augmented Alternative Communication boards. This allows each student to learn at their own speed, providing a customized learning experience. Each session is well-structured, with clear expectations and a familiar routine, helping students feel safe and confident as they progress.

Emotional Regulation

We prioritize fostering a calm and supportive environment that enhances emotional regulation. Using sensory-appropriate techniques empowers students to manage their emotions effectively and feel comfortable in various settings, leading to a positive and enjoyable experience. Our instructors build trust and focus on each individual’s unique needs, encouraging communication, confidence, and emotional well-being growth.

PIXTOLEARN Swimming

At clubSENsational, we believe it is essential to enhance our sessions with visual aids, as they play a pivotal role in improving understanding for both verbal and non-verbal learners. We support our lessons with PIXTOLEARN Swimming, a unique resource designed to develop and enhance the aquatic experience for people of all ages, needs, and skill levels.

PIXTOLEARN Swimming is designed to improve communication and engagement by demonstrating simple steps to achieve aquatic skills and games.

PIXTOLEARN Swimming flashcards are helpful for both beginners who have never been in contact with water and experienced swimmers who want to improve their swimming abilities. The flashcards’ unique features, such as the «break-it-down» side, make them highly useful.

Combined with aquatic toys and equipment from PIXTOLEARN Swimming, these flashcards provide an enjoyable way to learn essential and complex aquatic skills.

By incorporating these resources, we ensure that instructions are clearer and more accessible, facilitating effective learning and encouraging greater participation in our swimming sessions.
